As 2015 draws to a close, our Rangers are in the last week of play delivery before they go off for a well-deserved break with their families. Dark play is in full swing at after school sessions, with manhunt featuring high on the list of favourite games in the dark. Our team enjoy this time of year, gathering around the fire pit with sociable conversations and some campfire cooking to fuel the high octane games. On some sites, conversations are for the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents. On other sites, attendance is dominated by teenagers at this time of year, and the Rangers explore some difficult topics with young people in the anonymous glow of the fire pit. One thing’s for sure – our reliable Rangers are there whatever the weather and in the last few weeks we’ve experienced a lot of rain, mud and high winds. We’re a resilient crew and we understand that after a day at school our mix of outdoor play, healthy snacks and time with our kind and fun Rangers is what children need.
