We hope you can come along to join the celebration of our Tenth Anniversary at a special Play Festival at the University of Gloucester’s Oxstalls Campus, Oxstalls Lane, Gloucester on Thursday 31st August.
To get your ticket click here to go to our event on the Eventbrite website. If you have any trouble accessing tickets, please ask a Play Ranger at a play session or email us via the Contact page on the website.
Our activities encourage active and healthy lifestyles and Play Gloucestershire’s Play Rangers provide children, young people and families with memorable adventures, friendships and fun.
There will be an exciting menu of outdoor activities to choose from and children can freely choose what they do in a supportive environment that encourages child-led play.
We are excited to be having Mobiloo at our Play Festival thanks to funding from the Barnwood Trust!
Having the Mobiloo on site will mean better access to toilet facilities for children, young people and their family members living with complex needs, as they can come to play and be a part of this event alongside their peers, family members and the wider community.
Mobiloo is a new product to the market, offering a safe and clean changing and toilet facility to meet the needs of all disabled people (and their Carers or Personal Assistants), within a mobile van.
We are celebrating a decade of outdoor play and want families to help us to celebrate our achievements. We would like to thank our supporters and remind people about the amazing power of play.
In the spirit of Play Rangers – who work outdoors all year round – you will be able to take part in the following outdoor play activities:
Active Play: all sorts of sports and games to keep you fit and healthy
Trashion: dress up and paint your face
Scrap Modelling: make a model to take home from recycled materials
Den Village: build your den for the day, decorate it and move in
Chill Out Zone: relaxing activities to do whilst sitting down
Decade of Play Celebration: celebrate 10 years of Play Gloucestershire with us. Look at some photo’s and share your play memories with us. You can also find out more about what we have been doing and where we are now.
Our Play Rangers and Young Volunteers are on site to help you enjoy your day; if you need anything please ask.
